What are HFMA bitesize courses?

HFMA bitesize provides a range of online CPD accredited courses, covering essential healthcare business and finance subjects. The courses are aimed at anyone working in healthcare, who wants to understand more about the fundamentals of the healthcare business.

Over 80 online courses available - from NHS finance, governance and business cases, to budgeting, costing and value. Our HFMA bitesize courses offer a wide range of learning to suit NHS budget holders, finance and non-finance staff at all levels.

The courses vary in level to suit a range of learners and can be purchased individually online, or as a subscription package for NHS organisations. We also have a range of free courses available for NHS staff provided in partnership with NHS England.

Which level is for you?

Our foundation level courses are highly relevant for those who are new to the NHS, or work in roles that involve managing budgets, and who have a need to better understand the NHS landscape and how money flows in the health system.

Complete any bitesize foundation course individually or complete 5 foundation courses and gain a f oundation award in healthcare finance. There are awards available for NHS England, NHS Wales, HSC and GP organisations.

Complete any bitesize intermediate courses individually OR a series of intermediate courses and assessments to gain an HFMA intermediate qualification in healthcare business and finance.

Complete any bitesize advanced courses individually or study a series of courses to gain a deeper understanding of a particular topic. By completing a series of courses, you can achieve an HFMA qualification.
