Branch / Eastern Branch
Welcome to the branch
Our regional population is served by six integrated care boards, with 22 hosted NHS provider organisations. In addition, there are several community interest companies, plus local authorities and a huge number of voluntary sector organisations that make up and support the six integrated care systems. From a healthcare perspective, the East of England is a hugely varied region that plays host to some real extremes, from the most deprived population in the country (Jaywick, in Essex), to some of the world’s most advanced providers (Addenbrookes and Papworth), courtesy of it hosting one of the world’s top universities in Cambridge.
The health organisations of the East of England are supported by the HFMA Eastern Branch. We are an active group, working to provide a schedule of events designed to complement the national programme, and to reflect the interests and needs of our local membership.
We’re always looking for suggestions and would be happy to welcome anyone who wants to be more involved into the organising committee.
The group is proud to work with the East of England Finance Academy.
The next Eastern branch annual conference is scheduled for 26 February 2024.
