Event / HFMA Eastern Branch lunch and learn: An insight into financial planning

Rachel Pilsworth, Deputy Director of Finance System Co-ordination at NHS England, East of England Regional Team, will be sharing her experiences in the approach to Financial Planning within the NHS from the viewpoint of Regional co-ordination.  She will also encourage delegates to share their own experiences of how planning is managed within Trusts and ICBs.

Target Audience – Anyone who would like an insight into Financial Planning or share their own planning experiences.

The session will cover topics including:

• An overview of the national approach to planning including funding streams.
• Planning guidance and communication flows.
• Use of benchmarking to support efficiencies.
• Challenges faced in 2024/25 Planning.
