The theme of the HFMA West Midlands Branch annual conference this year will be Business Partnering.

We have a range of speakers examining the importance of business partnering to the delivery of high quality clinical services. The conference will examine the technical and softer skills that we as accountants need to support our clinical and operational managers. Speakers will talk about their role as business partners in the NHS and other sectors, and as operational and clinical managers who depend on their business partner to drive improvement.

The importance of digital and AI in providing information and intelligence will be explored. The need for business partners to understand population health and the tools available to eliminate inequality will be examined

The annual conference offers an excellent chance to unite finance professionals from across the region for networking, workshops, and entertainment. It serves as a platform for local organisations and individuals to exchange stories, offer insights into their successes, and facilitate valuable learning experiences.

This year we will be hosting a Gala Dinner, complete with awards and entertainment, on the evening before the main conference. This means our conference will conclude at approximately 4 pm on Friday 21 June.
