Briefing / Summary of Capital guidance for 2022-2025

The NHS capital allocation for 2022/23 will be split in the same way that it was in 2021/22: 

• System allocation 
• Nationally allocated funds 
• Other national capital allocations 

The guidance sets out how trusts and systems should manage their capital programmes and what information they will be required to submit to NHS England and NHS Improvement. 

The guidance sets out the details of what each part of the allocation will be used for and identifies priority areas for capital investment.
