This course looks at what is meant by a team in the NHS and how the definition of the term may differ between clinicians, mangers, functions and organisations. We concentrate on how leaders can address dysfunction in teams and what the research into high performing teams suggests you need to do as the leader. We also examine different approaches to building teams.
This course is suited to those who are managing a budget, operational staff, finance staff and those new to the NHS.
