This course examines management and leadership roles and behaviours. It considers how to manage relationships in the workplace and the potential impact on achieving business aims and objectives as well as considering leadership styles that are particularly suited to the health service.
This course is relevant to those who are new to NHS, clinical staff, budget and operational managers, finance staff, primary care staff.
This intermediate course is accredited by the CPD standards office. On completion of this course you will receive a certificate of completion as evidence of 6 hours accredited CPD for your professional development.
You can complete this intermediate course as part of a series of 5 courses, to achieve the HFMA Intermediate certificate ‘Management skills’. This is equivalent to an undergraduate level certificate worth 20 academic credits.
