Key contibutors honoured by HFMAThe HFMA has honoured 12 key
contributors for their efforts in supporting
 the organisation. At the annual key supporters’ dinner, held this year at Warwick Castle, four of the key contributors were honoured for the first time, while the other eight had previously received the award but were recognised for their ongoing and significant support for the HFMA.

HFMA chief executive Mark Knight said the key contributors were the lifeblood of the association. ‘Without these volunteers, the branches, committees and the association would not be the success they are,’ he said.

The newly honoured members were (above from left to right):

  • Sarah Brampton – for her leadership of the South West Branch, which has recorded many successes, notably its accreditation scheme.
  • David McMullan – for his tireless work as Northern Ireland Branch treasurer since 2010 and for securing funding for the branch.
  • Tim Saunders – for being a stalwart of the Eastern Branch committee for more than 10 years and participating and contributing to events.
  • Stuart Wayment – for many years of support for the Kent, Surrey and SussexSouth West branches and , including the management of the KSS 24-hour learning event.

The individuals re-nominated for the award were:

  • Carol Potter
