What makes the branch unique?
Branch annual conference
HFMA Wales Branch annual conference is ran alongside ACCA and is always an informative and popular event for development and networking with NHS colleagues across Wales. It fills the biggest spot in our calendars stretching across two days to enable us to provide over 250 delegates with CPD and to guarantee to come away feeling inspired and motivated. It isn’t just our delegates that benefit from our conference, last year we raised over £2000 for Kids Out charity!
Member engagement
The branch consists of over 300 members, a third being our free membership for AfC Bands 2-6. We strive to provide a programme of developmental sessions for our members and are always looking for new ideas for sessions that a our members feel are beneficial.
Lunch & Learn sessions
We run occasional webinars on NHS finance topics that cover topics such as the future of NHS finance, insights into working as a CFO and career development.
