Trustee / Kavita Gnanaolivu

Kavita has been working in healthcare management and transformation for over twenty years in the NHS and consulting with Accenture , EY and KPMG. She leads a diverse range of healthcare improvement projects with a number of trusts and health boards across the country specialising in financial improvement, operational improvement, pathway redesign and service reconfiguration.

She started her career as a doctor but decided to move into healthcare management. She joined the NHS Wales Financial Management Graduate programme in 2001 and after gaining her CIPFA qualifications worked in Cardiff and Vale Health Board in senior management positions for 13 years before moving into consulting.

Kavita is chair of the HFMA Wales Branch.
