This briefing is intended to act as a useful list of issues for NHS finance teams to consider when establishing a subsidiary or entering into a joint working arrangement. It does not provide any advice on whether this is the right action for any particular NHS body to enter into, it simply sets out some of the issues that should be considered. It is based on the real experiences of our colleagues working in the NHS.
