HFMA response / National tariff 2017/18 and 2018/19 response

This is the HFMA’s response to NHS Improvement’s consultation on the national tariff for 2017/18 and 2018/19 – the first multi-year tariff.  The response was prepared with input from members of the National Payment Systems Special Interest Group, Prescribed Specialised Services Commissioning Special Interest Group and Mental Health Finance Faculty Steering Group.  Whilst the HFMA welcomes the introduction of a multi-year tariff based on HRG4+ phase 3, our members do have some concerns about the details of the proposals; these are outlined in our response.
