Briefing / Mental health clinical costing standards 2015/16
This document is only available for download. The changes for 2015/16 build on feedback from a survey of costing practitioners and have been fully debated and discussed with the HFMA mental health costing practitioner group. Key changes include the development of standard 3 to provide more detailed guidance on allocating costs. This includes 3 new standards on allocating ward costs, community team costs and medical staffing costs. In addition, standard 4 (classification of costs into fixed, semi- fixed and variable categories), standard 8 (information) and standard 10 (review and audit of cost information) have all been revised.
