Trustee / Nicci Briggs

Nicci Briggs is currently the chief finance officer at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Integrated Care System. Nicci’s previous roles include director of finance at Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and executive director of finance, contracting and corporate governance, at Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Clinical Commissioning Groups. It was in this role that she won the 2021 HFMA finance director of the year award, for innovative leadership in developing a nationally acclaimed primary care funding model to tackle health inequalities, addressing significant system deficit, bringing together three finance teams and championing diversity and inclusion.

Nicci is chair of the HFMA’s Digital Council.
