Moye has over 16 years’ experience in the NHS where she has worked in projects, building and service variations, contracts, finance, administration and data management. Her current role is a service contract coordinator and previous jobs in the NHS include facilities project assistant, contract project assistant and admissions officer. Before joining the NHS Moye worked as a legal secretary for a firm of solicitors. Prior to that she worked at imperial college as a finance officer and was also a receptionist at a bank. Moye is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and holds a number of voluntary roles which include church treasurer and website administrator.
Moye enjoys helping others and derives great satisfaction by supporting people to achieve their goals. Moye has years of experience in training and development and also a Diploma in Business Consultancy and would love the opportunity to share her knowledge with others. Moye has conducted informal mentoring with work colleagues, friends and family. By doing these sessions she listened and asked the right questions to get them thinking about how they will achieve their goal. She was reassuring and encouraging so they were able to speak openly which made them feel supported and by the end of the session they had a plan of how to move forward.
Moye looks forward to putting what she was learned from her developing coaching and mentoring training into practice. She has also been mentored by a career and development coach which inspired her to help others develop in their career. She has completed the Introductory certificate in healthcare finance (HFMA bitesize), and continues to develop her coaching and mentoring skills by attending webinars and mentoring skills training.
Moye has good listening and questioning skills is approachable, encouraging and supportive. She sees herself as an honest person and able to maintain confidentiality. Moye looks forward to the challenge of getting involved in mentoring projects and helping mentees to get the best out of the sessions and to achieve their goals.
