Lee currently holds two roles as chief finance officer. He joined Hull University Teaching Hospitals in 2012, then in October 2020 was also appointed as chief finance officer for North Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust.
Prior to 2012, he held director of finance posts at Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust.
For a temporary period from 2019 to 2021, Lee also led the finance function of the fledgling Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care System.
