Speaker / Jenny Powell

Jenny joined the NHS in the late 1980’s working as an Auxiliary Nurse at Southend Hospital and moved into Finance in 1998 as a finance admin assistant.

Jenny gradually worked her way up in finance and qualified with ACCA in 2012 working in Mental Health, CCG’s, CSU and Acute hospitals, gaining a broad knowledge of the NHS working in a number of different departments within finance.

Jenny's current role is the Head of finance, costing and benchmarking for MSEFT, part of her role is the System Costing Hub lead working for the ICB and with system partners, she finds the role challenging, exciting and forward thinking.
