Experience
Arnold Palmer is an executive coach with many years’ experience. He is also a qualified accountant, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (FCCA) with over 30 years’ experience.  Having qualified with National Power PLC within the electricity industry, Arnold moved sectors and joined the NHS in the early 1990s.  He holds a MBA from the University of Greenwich .

Arnold was the executive director of finance for Camden and Islington Foundation Trust and Haringey Community Trust for over 15 years.  He worked in Acute, Mental Health and Community sectors, before taking early retirement.  He continued his consultancy work supporting Trusts with their Foundation Trust applications whilst providing individual coaching services mainly to directors of finance and/or aspiring deputies as part of the early national leadership programme.  He also spent 2 years as a lay member (NED) of a large London CCG challenging the board on Diversity and Inclusion matters.

He passionately believes in supporting people to be the best they can be and believes in using the power of coaching to gain insight and unlock potential is an important support along that journey.

Style
Arnold coaching style is relaxed and engaging with the onus on building the coachees’ confidence and resilience, using various techniques to unlocking their talent and potential.

Arnold is an enthusiastic supporter of Diversity and Inclusion within the NHS and will bring his own experience and knowledge when exploring diversity and inclusion issues that may be faced by staff.
