Aimee has a wealth of experience working in industry. As head of finance for a manufacturing company, her role included leading a diverse team of HR, finance and procurement colleagues. One of her main accomplishments was leading the business and wider team of 100 permanent staff through a successful transaction with a large listed company, Orkla ASA. She successfully integrated the new systems, processes and policies Orkla required within challenging timescales.

A key element of the integration was change management and communications with the team, and Aimee felt proud of her contribution in making the local business part of a larger entity providing succession planning, progression opportunities, and strong job security for all its existing employees.

Aimee wanted a new challenge and over the years enjoyed work where she could see she made a difference, assisting entrepreneurs gain finance for setting up a new venture, creating new jobs, or making a business and all its employees more resilient. Aimee now works at The Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust as a project accountant supporting the finance team and wider corporate functions working on a variety of projects. She utilises her collaborative style to bring teams together to deliver a successful project.

Aimee has a calm but energetic approach and will always look for solutions. With her varied background and inquisitive mind Aimee will be a good listener and thought provoker, with a strong clear set of ethical values.
