This course is FREE to NHS staff
This course examines the national policy of integration in health and social care in England and how it is being implemented. It explores how the policy has evolved since 2014 and the challenges it was designed to address. The course covers the different ways that organisations are integrating services as well as some of the barriers to integration.
The course concludes with a brief look at integration in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Once completed you will understand how integration is working in your local area.
You can complete this intermediate course as part of a series of 11 courses, to achieve the HFMA Intermediate certificate ‘How finance works in the NHS’. This is equivalent to an undergraduate level certificate worth 20 academic credits.
