News alert / Pay review process begins
The government has published the letters sent from health secretary Victoria Atkins asking the various pay review bodies to commence their pay round processes for 2024/25. The senior salaries review body is asked to conduct its annual review process for very senior managers and executive senior managers. The letter urges the body to "consider the historic nature of the 2023 to 2024 awards and the government’s affordability position". In addition, the government has published the letters sent to the NHS pay review body and the review body on doctors’ and dentists’ remuneration.
