News alert / NHS housing capital guidance
NHS England has issued guidance for integrated care boards, local authorities, support, care and housing providers on NHS housing capital grants and legal charges for properties for people with a learning disability or autism. Building the right home, launched in 2016, outlines housing options to help people leave mental health hospital or prevent them being admitted to one. This new guidance will help ICBs, local authorities and other providers access capital grant funding. It sets out the process for applying for a grant to buy, develop or redevelop land or property, and how changes can be made to an existing capital grant agreement.
