News alert / NCC cost collection remains on schedule

NHS England has confirmed that it ‘remains on track’ to open the national cost collection window as planned on 20 November. In a costing update, it said that it had received ‘firm assurance’ from the development team that the data validation engine would be fully operational shortly after testing. It acknowledged there had been some frustration during testing with files not processed and reports not fed back. But it said this had enabled the team to put all the required fixes in place.
