We are excited to invite you to a breakfast session on the 25th April 8-9am to discuss health and inequalities! Hosted by Carey Lunan, Senior Medical Advisor on Health Inequalities and Mental Health.

Dr Carey Lunan has worked as a GP in areas of high socioeconomic deprivation, including homeless services, for many years. She is the Chair of the Scottish Deep End Project, and is also currently on secondment to Scottish Government primary care as a professional advisor on health inequalities.  This session will give a brief overview of Scotland’s health inequalities and the key drivers of these (including how we design and deliver our healthcare).  It will consider the key role that general practice can play, informed by the learning from the Scottish Deep End project, and will share some of the work that is happening within Scottish Government.  It will also consider barriers, opportunities, and what we need to do differently.

Please click book now to register and you will receive joining link in due course.
