Hardev Virdee, group chief finance officer of Barts Health NHS Trust, joined us for a webinar on 23 February 2024 at midday.
Hardev was the winner of the HFMA’s Finance Director of the Year 2023 award and shares his story with us; the achievements, challenges, and his continued commitment to the development of his staff, the wider finance community and how this plays an important role.
Hardev joined the trust in 2019 and was instrumental in steering it out of special measures. Now, as the financial leader for the group managing a £2.1bn budget, he is helping lay the foundations for a new era of financial collaboration across the integrated care system of North East London.
