Webinar / Getting the most from integration and collaboration
NHS bodies are required to work collaboratively to provide integrated services for patients and service users. However, it is not clear how, why and when different approaches to working together lead to improved performance.
A team of academics, led by Dr Ross Millar, undertook a review of published evidence and interviewed NHS staff, patients and members of the public to find the answer. This work concluded that a series of elements need to be in place for collaboration to work effectively. These include trust and belief, as well as clear priorities and mechanisms for reviewing performance.
During this webinar, Ross sets out the findings of the study and their practical implications so that NHS bodies can make the most of working collaboratively.
