Policy and Research Committee

The HFMA Policy and Research Committee provides a forum for discussing healthcare finance policy and agreeing the HFMA’s policy views. It oversees the development of the HFMA’s annual policy and technical work programme and supports the HFMA executive team in undertaking research into financial and related issues as well as providing advice and guidance on how the HFMA should respond to consultations and submissions to Parliamentary Committees.

The committee meets four times a year and draws its membership from all sectors of the NHS including representatives from the Department of Health and Social Care, NHS England and the National Audit Office.
