The HFMA has responded to the consultation on the 2022/23 national tariff payment system.
The HFMA is broadly supportive of the proposed changes and the implementation of the aligned payment and incentive approach. However, we have raised concerns around how the payment system will support the NHS to address the backlog of elective care and have highlighted the views of our members in relation to the viability of CQUIN.
