Briefing / Remuneration report 2023/24

The remuneration report is fundamental to demonstrating transparency and accountability to Parliament and other stakeholders. It is the main element of the accountability report section of the annual report and accounts.

This briefing provides links to the NHS specific guidance for each of the headings in the remuneration report as well as providing the reasons for the disclosure and issues to consider. 

It is worth noting that some of the disclosures in the remuneration report are subject to audit and should clearly be described as such in the annual report.
