I have been working for the NHS in the Finance field for more than 11 years now in various roles. It has not always been an easy ride for me to climb up the career ladder, I have had many barriers that I have had to overcome.

Becoming a mentor/mentee is a two-way relationship, where you need to be a good communicator and listener, not only will it help build network for the mentee, but it will also build the mentors leadership skills.

I currently work as an Assistant Finance Manager with Greater Manchester ICB, I have previously worked at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS FT, Tameside and Glossop NHS and Pennine Acute.  

I am a qualified ACCA member.  I could pass my experience of studying and working fulltime to others and how it is achievable.  

I am also part of FSD, a value maker, health & wellbeing champion and a sponsee. Being a sponsee has been a really great experience for me. I have a good relationship with my sponsor. She is helpful and guides me within my career.
