Trustee / Simon Crowther

Simon Crowther was appointed as the executive director of finance and performance at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust in September 2020. Prior to this Simon spent over five years as finance director at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and also had responsibility for procurement, information and estates.

Simon has also previously held board level roles in both provider and commissioning organisations. In addition to this Simon is a former East Midlands Branch chair, he is a member of the HFMA’s Policy and Research Committee and is a qualified coaching practitioner. He is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

Simon is chair of the HFMA Finance and Audit Committee.
