HFMA coach

Experience: Rachel’s career spanned 33 Years in the NHS prior to leaving in 2019. She worked in the Provider Sector (Acute, Community, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities), Commissioning Sector, Intermediate and National tier. She held CFO roles, CEO and Deputy CEO roles. She is an AAT and CIPFA Qualified Accountant and is ILM 7 Coaching and Mentoring qualified.

Development of people was always a particular interest throughout Rachel’s career. She was a National Trustee for the HFMA, Chairman of the West Midlands HFMA branch and part of the recruitment process for the Aspiring FD Programme.

She has undertaken coaching work with individuals and teams in the NHS, Education and Pharmaceutical sectors.

Style: Rachel’s coaching style is organic, working through issues and plans conversationally. She has experience of working in many organisations and understands the personal and professional complexities individuals and teams face. Her experience has shown that answers often lie within the individual already. She is solution focussed but believes that coaching should be an enjoyable, enlightening, and empowering experience.
