Tutor / Letsie Tilley

Letsie is a highly experienced NHS manager with 30 years' experience working in senior NHS management roles, including 20 years as a board-level director of finance. She developed a reputation for strong leadership, creating robust financial management and maintaining financial stability in times of significant turbulence and change. She has a wide range of NHS financial management experience gained by working in acute, community, mental health and learning disability service organisations as well as in NHS clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) and more recently with integrated care systems (ICS). She has also worked as a senior health and social care consultant for Price Waterhouse and in local government.

Throughout her career, Letsie has always been strongly committed to supporting NHS finance leadership, training and personal development which has included coaching senior finance managers and general managers. She has worked with the HFMA Academy as a tutor on its Masters level qualifications in healthcare business and finance since its beginning in 2016.
