Coach / Chris Brown

HFMA executive coach

A former NHS finance director, non-executive director, and now a qualified and experienced executive coach.

Having been there, done it, and worn the T-shirt I now specialise in helping overstretched NHS managers survive and thrive in the face of their organisational challenges.

My book “Grasp That Nettle: 5 Steps to Sustainable Confidence” was published in 2017.
I have helped many NHS Finance professionals become the best version of themselves including:
-   aspiring finance directors get their first FD post
-   new FDs quickly become seen as experienced
-   any level of NHS Finance professional formulate a winning career management strategy
-   senior leaders deal with ‘imposter syndrome’
-   acting as a sounding board for the most senior and experienced leaders.

I am also licensed to undertake a range of Everything DiSC leadership and behavioural profiles, MTQ Plus (a mental toughness assessment), and the 5 Behaviours of Cohesive Teams.

Regardless of the level you are currently at, I particularly like working with people who share my core values of honesty, contribution, humility, and kindness.
