Experience
Alison is an experienced and qualified coach and mentor (ILML7 Certificate in Executive Coaching & Mentoring). She coaches senior executives, emerging leaders, and managers in a wide range of NHS organisations, education, and the private sector. She also provides coaching for individuals in the NHS National Finance Leaders Talent Pool.

Alison has a passion for supporting people to realise their full potential, develop their skills, gain greater clarity, and achieve their personal and career goals and aspirations. She is particularly passionate about supporting women who are moving into leadership roles and recognizes many of the challenges and issues that they face.

Alison has a strong track record in leadership and management and was formerly director of education at HFMA. Before this, she worked at a senior level in a range of learning, development and HR roles in the NHS, the commercial sector and local government. Having worked with professionals at all levels across a wide range of organisations and sectors, she has developed an appreciation and understanding of the challenges and dilemmas they face. She is a great believer in the power of reflection and lifelong learning and continues to grow her coaching practice and skills through regular CPD, supervision and peer support.

Alison has a supportive, friendly, and collaborative style, encouraging, challenging, and empowering clients to build on their strengths and to find their own solutions. Her focus is wholly on the client’s agenda, helping them to enhance their self-awareness, tackle self-limiting beliefs, explore options and opportunities, create effective solutions, and take action.
