Event / Financial sustainability - getting on the front foot for 2023/24
About this event
This online event considered how the four nations of the United Kingdom are tackling the common aim of delivering a financially sustainable health service while dealing with the ongoing effects of the pandemic, such as the backlog of care, workforce challenges, and delivering care that is still impacted by the presence of Covid-19.
As 2022/23 is a transition year for many, with new ways of working being established post pandemic, this event focused on how finance teams can support their organisations and systems to prepare for 2023/24. Sessions from each of the four nations demonstrated that organisations face similar challenges regardless of the financial framework and structure that they work within. This event enabled delegates to think about new ways of tackling problems and share learning with each other.
