Event / Accounting Standards Technical Update

Mike Sarwar will be delivering the Accounting Standards update, within this session he will be covering the following topics:

• Corporate Governance and the ESG reporting framework strategy for the public sector
• Minor reporting changes (Nothing significant other than IFRS17 insurance contracts)
• Brief update of current position with regard to IFRS17
• Common reporting problems - this will be a case study led session requiring the table groups to propose solutions from a reporting, auditing and assurance perspective.

This always popular session will provide a comprehensive update on the current key accounting issues for NHS bodies, including changes over the last year in accounting standards and reporting requirements.

Looking ahead to future changes, Mike will also give a briefing about potential new developments which may impact organisation’s financial reporting.

This event qualifies as CPD. The session has been arranged jointly with the Kent Surrey Sussex branch of HFMA, and is free to its members.  The charge for non – members is £85.00
