Overview

This course provides an overview of the finance and governance regime followed by HSC charities. It covers the place of charities in the HSC and how they have developed over time. It sets out key legislative and regulatory requirements and looks at the role of trustees. The course also covers the annual reports and accounts, the role of the trustees and how funds are run on a day-to-day basis.

This course is suitable for staff who are new to HSC, board members, budget managers, operational staff, clinical staff and finance staff.
