Associate Director of Procurement and Logistics, Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS FT and chair of the National Ambulance Procurement Board
After a short period in the Private Sector, in 2003, Mike joined the Civil Service where he undertook a variety of unusual roles based around his Project Management, Procurement , and transformation skill-set, starting in the Ministry of Defence and ending in Defra. During this time, he completed his MSc in Procurement and Logistics.
Mike currently works as the Procurement & Logistics lead for Yorkshire Ambulance Service and chairs the National Ambulance Procurement Board consisting of all UK Ambulance Procurement leads. He achieved Fellowship status in 2016 with the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) and as of this year, is an CIPS Direct Associate trainer.
