Overview

This course explores the different sorts of comparative data that informs and aids decision-making in the NHS, and how this is important to service users, health economies and policymakers. It also explores the different types of information that might be relevant and explains how this aids decision-making. While different parts of the NHS have different information requirements, performance and outcomes are often variable. This course explores some sources of comparative data, what it is used for and what difference this makes to outcomes. 

This course is suited to those who are managing a budget, clinical staff, operational staff, finance staff and primary care staff.
