Bitesize course / Information systems in decision-making
Overview
This course will examine how organisations receive, generate, analyse and disseminate large amounts of data to improve the decision-making process. The range of complex legal and professional obligations that limit, prohibit or set conditions on the management, use and disclosure of this information will also be covered. The course examines some of the information sources available to NHS organisations to facilitate their decision-making processes and concludes with a look at the role of the electronic healthcare record.
