This course examines the concepts of communication. Communication in healthcare organisations describes many things including an understanding of NHS policies, the vision of the organisation, how decisions are made and how information is provided to patients.
This course also looks at how to write effective reports and examines the skills required to plan presentations and present your ideas with confidence.
This intermediate course is accredited by the CPD standards office. On completion of this course you will receive a certificate of completion as evidence of 6 hours accredited CPD for your professional development.
You can complete this intermediate course as part of a series of 5 courses, to achieve the HFMA Intermediate certificate ‘Management skills’. This is equivalent to an undergraduate level certificate worth 20 academic credits.
