About the network (formerly Finance Skills Development)

The Skills Development Network (SDN) provides NHS organisations with comprehensive and relevant staff development opportunities, designed specifically to meet the needs of your staff, tailored to your region.

On this site you can access professional development opportunities in the South West, South Central and West Midlands regions, for the following key skills areas:

  • Finance Skills Development (FSD)
  • Procurement Skills Development (PSD)
  • Digital Health Skills Development (DHSD) for the West Midlands

As well as providing CPD accredited training and development through a series of events and webinars, we support organisations to share best practice and provide peer-to-peer mentoring to support skills, growth and career development.
