In Spring 2024, One NHS Finance's National Finance Academy introduced a new Promotion, Recruitment, and Retention strategy. This initiative aims to make the NHS the top choice for finance careers and to attract diverse talent from within and outside the NHS.

A key aspect of this strategy is making NHS board members aware of the support available to assist them in recruiting CFOs and other senior finance roles. By leveraging the talent pools and networks of CFOs and deputies through One NHS Finance, the strategy seeks to minimise reliance on costly agencies.

Hardev will provide an update on how CFOs/ NHS Board members and regional FDs can take advantage of this opportunity.
