This module helps learners to understand the importance of the annual report and accounts, how it is prepared and who will be involved in that process. It is intended to provide people outside of the team who prepare the annual report and accounts with the knowledge of what is required and why it is so important to meet the deadlines specified.

Who will benefit?

Budget holders, operational managers, business managers, administrative staff and those new to NHS finance.  Anyone who may be asked for information which is subsequently included in the annual report and accounts.

If you are studying towards the Introductory Award in Healthcare Finance this module can be counted alongside the compulsory module Introduction to NHS Finance as one of your five modules.

If you are studying towards the Introductory Award in Healthcare Finance this module can be counted alongside the compulsory module 'NHS finance (England) - an overview of NHS finance, the challenges and future of the NHS' as one of your five modules.

What happens after I have completed my purchase?
