Head of Provider Financial Accounting, NHS England and NHS Improvement
Eleanor joined Monitor (now NHS England and NHS Improvement) in 2012 in the regional regulation team but quickly returned to her calling of technical accounting. Eleanor leads on the production of the consolidated NHS provider accounts, including oversight of the Trust Accounts Consolidation (TAC) forms and NHS Improvement’s reporting to DHSC. In 2016 she spent a year on overseas secondment to the St Helena Government – by choice, unlike Napoleon.
Prior to Monitor, Eleanor spent many years with PwC’s public sector practice in Birmingham, where she specialised in internal and external audit for NHS, local government and education bodies. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
