Event / HFMA Northern Branch: Wellbeing Event - Surviving 2021
The 2 ½ hour Zoom session will be both informative and interactive.
Surviving 2021
The first session with Kevin Meaney will explore the impact of the challenging last twelve months on our feelings, emotions and behaviors. Kevin will then help you identify and implement strategies that will promote general mental and physical wellbeing in both yourself and others.
• What is mental health and how can I tell if mine is suffering?
• The effects of stress
• Taking action to improve mindset
• Helping others who may be struggling
Boost UP
The second session with John Sunderland-Wright will provide practical tools and techniques to build your personal resilience. These tools positively impact on physiological, emotional, cognitive resilience and well-being. The session is backed up by the latest research into neuroscience and HRV science. You will get to practice simple and easy to use techniques (that only take minutes) but bring immediate benefits in building your resilience and dealing with the stresses of work and home.
• How to manipulate your heart for stress relief
• How to get the most from your brain and look after it
• Great nutrition for brain and heart health
• How to take control
• The skills of mindfulness and how to meditate
• How to manage yourself working remotely
• Quick and easy Deskercise techniques.
