North West Branch- Can a wholly-owned subsidiary work for you in the NHS?

26 March 2019 - 26 March 2019

Liverpool Clinical Commissioning Group

About the event

The session will be run by QE Facilities (QEF) who will share their experiences as a wholly-owned subsidiary company of Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust, based in the North of England.  The company is a separate legal body set up to provide a range of non-clinical Estates and Facilities services and deliver significant savings and efficiencies

There will be a 1 hour presentation, with questions to be asked on the day either during the presentation or after it. We expect some interesting debates to transpire which may well be carried on well after the presentation has ended.

During the session the speakers Anthony Robson, Steve Rourke, Mike Yiatrou will cover the following:

  • Property Facilities Management (Operated Healthcare Facility)
  • Pharmacy
  • Strategic Considerations
  • Operational Considerations
  • Employment Considerations
  • Catalyst for Change
  • Culture
  • Service Delivery
  • Business
  • Risks

Who it is intended for

Mangers looking for new ways of working and with an interest in improving the fortunes of their organisation.

How will you benefit from attending

It will afford the opportunity to ask challenging questions of people that have ‘been there and done it’ to determine whether the prospect of change is one which they could take forward.
