About this event

The NHS long-term plan stipulates that every organisation in England will need to be part of an Integrated Care System (ICS) by 2021. The transition to system wide working presents enormous opportunities and challenges for health and social care leaders as we work towards a unified system that is patient, not organisation focused. This year's HFMA summer conference will focus on system working within the NHS, how the aims of the long-term plan can be delivered and how finance teams can work together across organisational boundaries.

Senior leaders from NHS England and NHS Improvement, including Julian Kelly, CFO, and Professor Stephen Powis, national medical director will be joining us to give an update on national strategy and share progress made since the long-term plan's publication. Richard Murray, CEO of The King’s Fund will be joining us to discuss how we create a more versatile system and consider the finance functions role in this. More speakers will be announced shortly.

Why should you attend?

This conference offers you the opportunity to update your continuous professional development in key technical areas. It is a must-attend conference for finance leaders and their teams from both provider and commissioner organisations. it will also be of interest to those working in STP lead roles, local authorities and primary care networks.
