Overview

This two-day conference will bring together colleagues throughout the region to network, reflect, and learn, as we continue to navigate the ever-changing NHS environment. It is an opportunity to celebrate our successes and discuss our challenges.  We will have regional updates from Jeff Buggle and a national review from Simon Currie.  Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from forward-thinking motivational speakers Andy Grant and Donna Fraser OBE.

Motivational speakers

Donna Fraser OBE is an Olympian who has transferred her skills from the track to the boardroom as a leader in equality, diversity and inclusion. Donna is a 4 time Olympian and former 400m sprinter for Great Britain. She is also Head of Inclusion & Engagement for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Andy Grant has been through a lot, from losing his mother aged 12 to joining the Royal Marines, to active service in Iraq and Afghanistan, to being injured by an IED, Medically Discharged, and facing life as an amputee. Coming into these difficult situations has never stopped Andy, and only made him stronger.

Early bird tickets are available until 30 June. Please click here to book your tickets.

The HFMA South West Branch will be hosting its Awards Ceremony at the South West Annual Conference 2023 taking place at the Sandy Park Conference Centre on the 19 of September.

The branch believes this to be a perfect opportunity to recognise local achievements, hard work and commitment from within the region and to be acknowledged and appreciated amongst colleagues and friends.

Each award will be judged by an appropriate panel which will include members of the South West Branch Committee. The judges will select a winning person or team whom matches the criteria and is in their view the best entrant.
